The Hexalan Corporation has reported the discovery of several new nations in the Universal East. At this news, the Infinite Penguin Empire has dispatched exploratory teams to the newly termed 'Leptosphere'.

Construction of new Taln superships has commenced.

Speakers preaching the word of Hatsuism have become more active in areas surrounding the Dynasty.

Butt influence is being felt in the UPA and Rome.

The Penguins have started political campaigns to convince New Canada to voluntarily join the Infinite Empire.

Reports of light Hexalani military vessels in nearby territories are becoming increasingly common.

Heavy Mexican political pressure is being applied to neighboring factions.

Reports of Leptospherical vessels are increasing in frequency.

De Nye Horisonter Set out and arrived first in the boarders of the new space. Very soon a small escort fleet was flanking the smaller frigate. Kaptajn Bjørn hoped that these aliens used similar frequencies to that of the Western Civilizations and attempted to hail the fleet. The fleet responded, but the signal was very weak and scratchy. As the Kaptajn orders for the experts to try and work out communications one of the pilots noticed the flag marked on the ships.
"Kaptajn! De er Leptoner! Det der en Leton flåde."
(Captin! They are Leptons! It is a Lepton fleet.)
A sigh of relief and disappointment filled the ship. Bjørn called for a translator and after a more stable signal was established negotiations were made, and De Nye Horisonter was escorted to the nearest landing area in the Reptoid world. Bjørn contacted the head council and told them that they had made contact with Leptons in the New Worlds, thus naming the area the Leptosphere.

Quickly the Leptons help the Penguins map out the area the other ships are heading. Den Springpingvin the Leptons identified as running into trouble, they suggested strongly to call back the ship immediately. Contact is made to the frigate, but it does not respond.

Using data gathered by the Penguins, Hexalan dispatches the 3rd and 5th Survey Fleets of the Expeditionary Corps.

The 3rd arrived as planned, and appropriately contacted Highcom to report in. It was during then that they learned the 5th failed to report in and was not responding to hails, the only transmissions they could pick up being fragmented and degraded.

As soon as formal contact with the locals at the 3rd's destination is established, they are set to head off to investigate the 5th's disappearance.

Manifestet Herlighed arrived at it's destination shortly after the discussion with the Lepton faction known as the Jabbathon. The locals being very curious of the events helped make contact between the penguins and Convastids easier. Manifestet Herlighed was escorted to a waiting chamber for the governing Margoethans to make a decision on what to do with the newly arrived birds. While the wait continues the penguin scientists pester the Jabbathonians for more information on the surrounding systems.

As relations are getting established, back at the empire huge campaigns are being created to help the formation of a Penguin Canadian empire. Other campaigns like this have failed in the past but the council assures the empire that with the new threat of Butt contamination will force the two nations together for greater security. Skeptics veiw that such a movement would favor the penguins in a government stance, but the penguins assure no harm will be done with this advantage and balances will be formed.

Hexalan has declared the protectorates of Macai and Zuguth as part of Hexalan proper.
The Penguin Empire has successfully convinced New Canada to join the Penguins.

With the negotiations well under way in the Leptosphere the IPE now has established new trading lines to spread the wealth into the nations of the Leptons, Convastids, and the intriguing Jem-Haddar. New exports are also now running from the region, giving penguin scientists a lot to do these days.

The government also gave the green light to the missionaries, of course they hadn't waited for the green light, and some may have even proceeded the penguin explorers. But the green light simply meant that it was safe to send over citizens without a war of sorts breaking out. It also meant that the Tears to Gold program had also been able to establish headquarters in the Traders Outposts newly erected, giving a safe house for missionaries on the run.

Hexalan has begun extensive propaganda campaigns in regions to the west, south, and east.

Citizens of Neo Tielis are somewhat panicked, fearing that the Penguins, with their newly acquired assets, may attempt to wage a swift war upon them. This is only compounded by the Taln's upcoming superships.

The 3rd Survey Fleet is conducting meetings with the Jem-Hadar. Seeing their preference for the Penguins, they set off once again, this time splitting between the Collectons and Convastids, who, apart from the two Garm states, seem to be the most accepting to Hexa-Marts. The 12th and 30th Fleets, some of the most heavily armed common fleets, have been dispatched to attempt to commence talks with the De'gon and Kyrat'kethoi.

Unconfirmed reports of missionaries from the IPE being killed in Middle Space have reached mass circulation from media outlets.

All over the IPCE Penguins, Armenians, Canadians sing the song of remorse for their fallen comrades in the middle east. Since the Traders' Outposts have remained intact from an amazing move of strategy on the Arabs' part there is no way for the nation to increase their existing presence in the Middle Space.

But that isn't enough for the Penguins, as they evacuate large masses of the Arabic, Armenian, and Jewish Churches (as well as Jews still practicing Judaism, which are being relocated to Jerusalem, also under penguin guard). The Canadians quickly try to call together the nations to proclaim this as a social crisis, while holding the rein on angry Penguin masses. Novas Romanus, also evacuating major populations of Christians, is starting to call this the Third Christian Genocide. They openly support the cause, Mexico is also being pressured by it's Catholic population to vote to allow more troop placing in the Middle Space.

But in the midst of it all a note was sent from the remaining underground Church in the Middle Space. What it read later astonished the leaders of the Church as they met in Tears to Gold headquarters to discuss this crisis...

Majore Atmerel Puzerol gazed at his Unit from the bridge of his vessel, the Mazerar Vusounjeniv. They were a fine lot, tough as nails and loyal as an oltoj. He, like the rest of his fellow Major Admirals, were excited to hear the 30th was moving out, and to the Leptosphere no less. As the navigator was plotting a course of the Kyrat'kethoi border, Puzerol gave a glance around the bridge. It was a moderately sized room bathed in orange light. The walls were cramped and cluttered with terminals and instruments, leaving a clearing the center for the tactical projector and viewing stretch.

Hovering between the glowing orange fields that were the top and bottom of the tactical projector was a realistic portrayal of the 30th Fleet and the upper quarter of the planet they were in orbit of, Tranxis IV. It was a desolate planet, one with many sandy deserts, but it was home to a vast naval maintenance complex. Its location, along the northeastern part of the border, was a highly strategic one.

"Notosofaz se'ratoe jetol, faso. Se'Nesvar nafot sozenola tun kesba silnase." The navigator announced.

"Silnase." The Mazerar Vusounjeniv, the rest of the Unit, and the Fleet, began their journey to the home of the Garms.

The 109th, 110th, and 120th Fleets as well as the 10235th-10250th Legions have been sent to the Middle Space Territories for "training exercises".

There, they will aide foreign forces, mostly of the Penguin variety, already present.

The Jem-Haddar, as it was their first time to a meeting like this, sat quietly in the back with their interpreter. Sent by their queen to observe the new species found across the reaches of space. Now in the room with crowds of the Human and Penguin religious leaders they felt slightly awkward. Seeing them in the corner a shorter Canadian walked over to the two cloaked species standing there.

“Dav, min venner. Hvar laver du her?”
(Hello, my friends. What are you doing here?)

The Penguin translated the statement, and the Jem-Haddar thought for a moment, then told the Canadian he was here observing a religious meeting for their queen. The Canadian grinned a forced grim grin.

“Du valgte det forkerte tidspunkt for at. Vi venter på Paven for at få mødet i gang. Han sagde, at han havde et budskab fra Kirken i Midten Rum.”
(You picked the wrong time for that. We are waiting for the Pope to get the meeting started. He said he had a message from the Church in the middle space.)

There was a little explanation on who the Pope was, and the Jem-Haddar left that conversation more confused than before. But what they did learn was about the Middle Space Genocide. They asked if they were of different clans. But before the clarification could be finished the Pope had arrived and the old man was being ushered up to the podium. The two speakers currently up there, an arguing American and Penguin, stopped their bickering and let the Pope up to the Podium. The Old man raised his hand for silence as the Jem-Haddar followed the New Canadian to some seats that were pulled up for them in the New Canadian Protestant section. As they settled in the strange Penguin Chairs (human chairs were far to large) the old man started to Speak.

“My friends,” He said to the crowd, “I'm old now, please quite down so an old man can speak.”

“What news from the East?” the shout rain out, “Are we going in? Should we fight?”

This caused the Pope to glare down at the masses, “Didn't you learn from the Crusades? We will not fight, that is for the governments to do, not the Church. If more troops are placed in the Middle Space, we must make sure they maintain order, not to harm the innocent there. No that is not what the rement in the danger zone wishes. Satan is strong there, but he isn't God. I hope this gives you all hope...”

He Cleared his throat and pulled out a tiny piece of parchment from his robes, “ولكني أقول لك: أحب عدوك وصلوا لأجل الذين يضطهدونكم. But I tell you: Love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you. Mathew 5:44.”

Silence fallowed the reading, and then, in awe of the courage of their Middle Space counterparts, the Church leaders stood and cheered. Even before the two Jem-Haddar knew what was said, they could tell that the New Canadian was wrong. They had come to the right meeting.

The government of the IPCE (mostly the Penguin part of it) was slightly disappointed with the decisions of the Church meeting, which barely was able to prevent the next crusade (the Penguins were ready to just charge in and secure the Middle Space by brute force). Though not under the control of the Church, the amount of the military that would refuse to participate in such an action as to go against their religion would not allow for enough power to penetrate the territory. Many officials are also a part of the Church body so in the end the zealous Penguins had to content themselves in sending more forces to secure the area. The vote to allow them to had passed, considering only the UPA and the Taln had voted against it. Roman Troops and Hexalonian Troops also came to cool down the Middle Space.

Now, with eyes turned away from that crisis, the New Canadians try to turn the zealous Penguins wrath away from another target, the Butt clans... but on this one they may not succeed, especially with all of the encouragement from their newly found friends, the Jem-Haddar.

Another noticing the UPA made was how much the Penguins are encouraging the Convastids into trying to gain more control in their government. The IPCE, on the other hand, was curious why the UPA isn't siding with them. Considering their grand proclamations about how everyone is equal and should be treated the same (making the IPCE not a wonderland somehow?) it would seem they would side with the more or less oppressed commoners who have no say in the government. The UPA argues that this movement would result in the loss of a culture, unique to the area. The Penguins point out how the culture isn't very efficient, and that a cybernocracy though designed for the people, cannot fulfill the cultural, spiritual, artistic, and loving needs a society needs. Also the Penguins declare not to pronounce any decisions on the Convastid people, but will encourage their position in this argument, which in no way hinders the "rights" of the people, who presently do not have many. No move can be made until the UN decides on what can be done.

The IPCE took notice of the strange warriors in their land (and after penguins humans and the Jem-Haddar that is quite a claim). After some research the high council discovered the formation of the vigilant group formed with a combination of Garm and human fighting techniques and technologies. They call themselves warriors for hire, but without a government over their head it seems that they are creating a noticeable political poll. The thought of freelancers in their lands also makes the government feel off easy, talking with the Roman Emperor, he to felt the same way. The President of the UPA makes no remarks, but the Penguins feel it is probably just to make sure he isn't agreeing with... Communists. The Earthosphere holds it's breath at the creation of this faction, and waits for their first move.

In most nations Christmas is the largest holiday of the year. But not in the IPCE. Here Lent leads up in excitement, the joy increasing exponentially as it continues towards Palm Sunday. There it explodes! Parades are the constant use of the road ways, and stores close, and only the doctors and military are on duty. Foreign traders avoid the Empire at this time of year, because there is no way for them to be able to do business. The picture featured shows what the streets in all New Canadian cities look like on this day, specifically during the military's contribution to the palm march (which is done everyday for the week fallowing Palm Sunday) lead by a donkey, but no rider, and then by a band, and other floats, then the military, and the local government floats. The primary bulk of the line, however, are citizens dancing. Public feasts and mass, mass are held everyday in that week, all leading up to the great Hymn singing at the end of Easter day. At 9:00 exactly the entire nation begins to sing the American Hymn, Christ is Risen, written almost 500 years ago. They sing in harmony, a testimony to the truth, Our God is ALIVE! And there is nothing worth celebrating more, because that makes all the difference.

Intelligence divisions of TacSec have begun looking deeper into the Vigilants of Destruction.

(Admiral, it has come to my attention that our current forces in the Middle Space Territories may not be enough. I am deploying your forces to bolster the garrison.)
"Azefa, fato. Narar se'famol, elsoselnasoz anto mobelize."
(Understood, sir. All ships, prepare to mobilize.)

The two Jem-Haddar ambassadors who had recently visited the IPCE, had given the meeting quite a bit of thought. One of them seemed to recall something from back at his homeland. Now him and the other ambassador swiftly found their way through the sandy streets of Ca-Mad, one of the larger cities of the realm. Most of the planets of the Jem-Haddar are desert, and baron, not that that is bad for the Jem-Haddar. They are not aquatic creatures, and need very little water to survive, in fact to much could kill them. The blowing sand only infuriated the two beings though as they trudged through the sandy streets. Soon they came out to a wide open desert. With a chirping noise (the common way of speaking among Hirians) they signaled to their followers that it was safe for them to come out of hiding. A rather large Hirian through off his red hood, reveling his identity as the Canadian who had spoke with them at the meeting, a preacher from Ny Copenhagen. The other two also pulled off their hoods, reveling to be penguins. One was an interpreter, and the other was a preacher from the Pingvisk Baptist Church. Also at his signal and Arab appeared out from inside an alleyway. She looked behind his back before talking, and when he did it was in a very low voice.
“We should be okay. No one seems to be fallowing us, and Jeld is standing guard at the entrance, that should be enough to discourage followers. Aksel, why again are we being so secretive?” He whispered ahead to the Penguin translator as they started walking out over the desert.
“There are certain religious groups that would be very aggressive if they saw us here. The government probably wouldn't do anything about it either if the group was caught.” He squawked, panting in the heat that penguins are not commonly used to.
“A Sadducee and Pharisee kind of thing, eh?” Knud, the Canadian pastor commented.
“So why not just have them read it and them come back and tell us?” The Arab, Fatimah said, still nervously looking around, though dealing with the heat much better than those from the IPCE.
“They don't want to risk mistranslation.” The Aksel, said after speaking with the short red robed figures. Soon they reached a sinkhole out in the desert, in it was what looked like a ruins. One of the Jem-Haddar made a chirping noise, and then a series of short high pitched chirps fallowed the first. The Penguin listened carefully for a minute, then rubbed his head with his flipper, “I'm not quite sure what that was, but I think he called the place; the Library of the Heretics.”
“What a charming place,” Fatimah said while looking down into the pit.
“It isn't supposed to be pleasant, this is where they keep all the writings from their false prophets, and those who opposed worship of the Queens.” The Baptist Penguin stated as he looked down into the hole as well, and then without waiting for another word the quiet Penguin slid on his belly down the sandy slope. Everyone looked at each other, then followed the slide in suit. They slid down into the dark depths of the pit, where the books of the rebels and worse lay.

Amidst the blustering sands, sounds of gunfire and heavy weapons fill the air in the Middle Space Territories. The Hexalani presence is projected to dramatically grow as firefights in the streets have become daily life. Landing vessels make landfall like clockwork, each one bearing additional troops. Homes and towns have been commandeered for the foreign forces as the need for strategic hubs and staging areas increases dramatically. Local governments have all but turned full control over to the Hexalani. Riots form and dissipate at all hours of the day as tired, angry citizens are manipulated by insurrectionists and extremists and turned into weapons against the foreign troops. In order to maintain a surplus of troops and equipment to support their efforts, Manufactorums and Academies are being shifted to near-full-tilt.

The Taln have completed one of their superships, with two more on the way. Tensions with Neo Tielis are at an all-time high.

Hexalani efforts to push into the Leptosphere have had unpromising results.

With so many fronts in the Universe the Penguins are starting to feel slightly overwhelmed. The Taln creating a super ship right in the backyard of the Penguins causes enough alarm as it is (even though they still could never take the Penguin fleet, there are still other issues with a super ship).

The Butts are spared briefly the Wrath of the Penguins as the encouragement from government officials in the Convastid territories are starting to cause an uprising. Their slave like living conditions make it very difficult even with the numbers to fight so many nations think this rebellion will not continue much longer, that is until the Penguin armada was found in the district.

Also the troops sent to cool down the Middle Space are only causing it to heat up more. As Hexalan steamrolls more territory from the Arabs, the Penguins start to debate on whether they should try and stop this invasion, after all they didn't come to take the land they occupied, just to cool it down. Also with suspicion on what will happen to the Arabs once they become Hexalani The Penguins make it a point to fully occupy the territories under their watch. Novas Romanus does the same under Penguin encouragement. The UPA will not back out of the East either, but refuses to control their occupied territory.

Death, destruction, desolation. The situation in the Middle Space Territories continues to deteriorate. A theory is rampantly spreading following a massive media blackout, that, as reports of atrocities committed by Hexalani to the citizens of the Middle Space, Hexalan is behind the blackout, attempting to prevent said reports from circulating. This is backed up by border access to Hexalan-controlled areas becomes restricted, beyond simple wartime measures, and those who, prior to the blackout, planned to flee through the Hexalani territory, are not heard from at all. (Out of Character Note: True.)

Hexalan is denying these allegations, adopting the story that "due to the extreme situation, appropriate measures must be taken." Currently no documents have been released that support the measures being at all "appropriate". Amidst this, local governments surrounding Hexalan, even those who've traditionally harbored serious resentment towards them but save for those near the IPE, are suddenly hosting early elections and undergoing government reforms, resulting in what can only be called pro-Hexalan leadership. Several international news outlets are posing the question, "Is Hexalan the next Google?" while Hexalani officials and sources adamantly refuse such a preposterous notion. The Hexalani news network CNBC is scheduled to run a special broadcast to address these concerns. On a related note, both Garm states and the Taln Protectorate have voiced their support of Hexalan.

Penguins are Bankers, and that has come in real handy lately. With Hexalan obviously on the move towards a conflict, the Penguins suddenly thrust old time debts in the faces of several nations. Mexico, so far into debt, is officially bought, and has become a territory of the IPCE, though there isn't much protesting the UPA questions the Penguins' motives. The Romans aren't bought out, but spontaneous government decisions are made, pledging loyallty to the Penguin state. The mobilization of Roman troops also starts increases in size. Also the Jem-Hadar see the Garm joining with Hexalon, and are even more pro Penguin than before. The government makes claims of a full fledged allegiance to the Penguins, as well as start to support an integrated military.

The Convastid Rebels planning on fighting the war with only a little support from the Penguins, are happily surprised when the a full siege is created on a surprised Capital. With the forces relocating to keep the government safe the rebels easily claim control over the rest of the land. It is still a hard fight, but it is won, and the New Convastid nation, in the dawn of a free era, commits full loyalty to the IPCE. Convastid starts to Militarizes which isn't hard for them, considering that the lower class had control over all of the nation's factories.

The Penguins, feeling more confident, with the Romans, Convastids, Jem-Haddar, and Mexico on their side, they reveal their mobilization. Normally 12 percent of the Penguin population is in the military, considering that they live right beside Hexalan and all. But they had secretly been mobilizing more forces since the Middle East conflict began. Now 18% of the population is in the military, with more troops coming. Already the ships that were sent elsewhere have been replaced at the Hexalani border. Using only the amount need to protect against a Hexalani invasion, the Penguins move ships to protect all their other Allies. The Jem-Hadar send parts of their fleet to the Convastid Territories as well. It looks like the Universe is heading for war once again.

The Middle Spatian defenders, overwhelmed by Hexalani numbers and firepower, are surrendering to the Hexalani forces. However, following the mysterious deaths of key government officials in the Middle Space, Hexalan has stated it will "hold the territory until a suitable local government can be reestablished." Massive convoys of HexaCorp mining vessels and freighters have been spotted entering the Middle Space.

As this conflict ends, another breaches the horizon. The manufactorums have begun to focus on the production of warships, their hopes being that the sheer numbers will be enough to counter the IPCE's quality. Despite this, material shortages are not apparent. Experts are speculating that they've located a large resource supply, and are pointing towards the Middle Space.

With materials being imported from the Middle Space, hundreds of new vessels have been rolling off the production lines. Space power is being concentrated on critical locations, with planetary and orbital anti-orbital weapons being kept on alert status.

Regarding the Middle Space, the blackout persists, and troops are still being shipped from Hexalan daily. Non-Hexalani areas have begun experiencing a serious rise in the power and devastation of terrorism and plain attacks by locals. Survivors and clean up crews of such attacks have made it clear the use of Hexalani equipment, Hexalan's response being that they "have no control over who uses the equipment of their deceased for what" and that "Hexa-Mart products have always held popularity in the Middle Space". They've also been questioned by several news outlets as to the nature of the freighters that have so recently been seen heading to and from the Middle Space, their statement saying that they're carrying "supplies for our troops" despite the vessels belonging to their mining divisions.
